Combine Spain with Portugal or France

Spain links easily with Lisbon and Porto, or with the south of France and Andorra. We quote multi-country circuits as one programme with one contact.

Good to know

Practical notes for groups in Spain

  • Peak season runs from April to October. Alhambra and Sagrada Família tickets should be booked as early as possible.
  • Many city centres limit coach access, so we plan drop-off points and walking times into the itinerary.
  • Dinner is served late in Spain; we can arrange earlier group dinners.

FAQ

Group tours in Spain: your questions

When is the best time for a group tour of Spain?

Spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) are ideal: warm, long days without the July and August heat of Andalusia and Madrid. Winter is mild on the south coast and good value, and Easter week brings spectacular processions but full hotels in Seville and Málaga.

Which sights in Spain should groups book early?

The Alhambra in Granada and the Sagrada Família in Barcelona release timed group tickets months ahead and sell out in spring and autumn. The Prado, Seville's Alcázar and flamenco shows also need group reservations. We book them as soon as your dates are confirmed.

Can a tour coach drive into Spain's historic city centres?

Usually not all the way. Toledo, Seville's Santa Cruz quarter, Granada's Albaicín and Barcelona's Gothic Quarter limit coach access, so we plan drop-off points close to each visit, with short walks or local minibuses where needed.

What time do groups eat in Spain?

Spaniards have lunch around 2 to 3 pm and dinner from 9 pm. We can arrange earlier group meals in restaurants that are used to international visitors, while keeping the late tapas evening as an optional experience.

Can Spain be combined with Portugal or France?

Yes. Seville and Lisbon are about five hours apart by coach with a lunch stop, and Barcelona connects with the south of France. See our Portugal and France pages, or the Spain group itinerary.
