Groundwise Travel LLC is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. You can contact us at hello@groundwisetravel.com.
What we collect
When you send a quote request or email us, we collect the details you give us: your name, agency name, email address, phone number, country and the details of your group's trip. When you download a sample itinerary, we collect your name, agency name, work email, the itinerary you chose and whether you asked for a white-label version or for email updates.
Why we use it
We use these details only to answer your request, prepare quotes and, if you go ahead, arrange and manage the services you book. Our lawful bases are taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries. If you download an itinerary, we may follow up once about that itinerary.
Email updates
We only send our itinerary and destination updates to people who tick the box asking for them. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also unsubscribe by emailing us.
Who we share it with
Quote requests and itinerary downloads are delivered to us through a form-handling service, Formspree, and this website is hosted by Netlify. If you book, we share the necessary details with the local suppliers who provide the services, such as hotels, coach companies and guides. We never sell personal data.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for up to two years, and booking records for as long as required for accounting and legal purposes.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or object to how we use it, by emailing us. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or the data protection authority in your country.
